A compact name with a specific breeder record. Explore G13 Haze through the lineage and descriptions published by Barney’s Farm.
Behind the name
Barney’s Farm lists G13 and Hawaiian Sativa in the genetics field of its G13 Haze record. The page also uses the broader Haze wording in its introductory description.
We retain the more specific genetics-field wording in this profile. That makes the source easy to follow without treating the cultivar title as a substitute for the complete parent statement.
G13 appears as a parent name in the cited record; G13 Haze names the cross described on the page. Those roles should remain separate when reading a short caption.
This breeder account provides a parent statement, not a complete archival history of G13 itself. We do not add an origin story that the record does not establish.
The breeder describes dense green flowers with orange pistils and a pale crystalline covering. Its aroma account combines earthiness, citrus and pine with sweetness.
Those descriptions give a visual and sensory reference for the breeder’s entry. A photograph still needs its own specimen identification: colour and a crystalline appearance alone do not establish which strain is shown.
Barney’s Farm maintains a feminised G13 Haze entry and a separate G13 Haze Regular entry. The category label belongs with the full name when referring to one of those records.
A category and a cultivar name convey different information. Keeping both visible avoids borrowing details from one listing while presenting them as if they came from the other.
Purple Haze has a separate page in this library. The shared Haze word invites comparison, but does not establish that Purple Haze is the Hawaiian Sativa parent named in this record.
Follow the explicit parent statements rather than substituting familiar names. This keeps the distinction between a family association, a cultivar title and a specific lineage clear.

The record uses G13 for a parent and G13 Haze for the cross.
They distinguish the feminised and regular records instead of combining their listing details.
No. It names Hawaiian Sativa, so this page does not substitute Purple Haze.
