A collaborative creation with a familiar parent. Follow Pure Michigan through its documented family connection and two producers’ descriptions.
Behind the name
Autumn Brands identifies Pure Michigan as Oreoz crossed with Mendo Breath F2. Tower Three records the same parent names, shortening the second to Mendo Breath.
Oreoz therefore belongs in the family story as a parent, not an alternative name. Its separate profile is a useful next stop for exploring the relationship one generation at a time.
Both producers credit a collaboration between Thug Pug Genetics and 3rd Coast Genetics. That shared attribution is more informative than assigning the variety to just one name.
The producer and breeder credits describe different roles. Autumn Brands and Tower Three provide accounts of their material; their records attribute the creation to the breeding collaboration.
Autumn Brands describes deep purple colour and prominent trichome coverage. Tower Three adds red and magenta accents and rounded flower structures to its own account.
Those details give a more specific visual reference than the word purple alone. They remain descriptions of the producers’ material, so a photograph should identify its contributor rather than stand in for every possible specimen.
The Autumn Brands account pairs earthy language with gas-like notes. Tower Three describes an earthy, savoury aroma, using a meat-like comparison.
The shared earthy thread helps connect the descriptions, while their differences are worth retaining. Sensory comparisons are a vocabulary for describing a sample, not a list of literal ingredients or a fixed formula.
Pure Michigan is directly connected to Oreoz in the cited parent records. This is a documented relationship, rather than an association inferred from similar colours or names.
Open the Oreoz page to continue the family story. Keep each profile’s source attribution visible when comparing the descriptions: a parent’s account does not automatically describe its descendant.
Pure Michigan FAQ
No. Oreoz appears as a parent in the cited Pure Michigan records.
Autumn Brands includes that suffix. We preserve the more specific wording while noting that Tower Three uses the shorter name.
The two producers credit Thug Pug Genetics and 3rd Coast Genetics together.
A cultivar name alone does not identify a sample’s production location. That requires its own provenance.
