The strain library
A citrus name with an important distinction. Explore the Lemon Haze account used here, the two named parent lines and why an extra word can change the strain you are reading about.
Behind the name
Azarius describes its Lemon Haze as a cross of Lemon Skunk and Silver Haze. This profile follows that named account, keeping the source visible alongside the parentage.
A full parent statement adds context to a short strain name. Here it connects the lemon-associated parent with the Haze name, rather than treating Lemon Haze as a catch-all label for any citrus-described cannabis variety.
Green House Seed Company lists Super Lemon Haze separately, with Lemon Skunk and Super Silver Haze as parents. In the two accounts compared here, Lemon Skunk is shared while the other parent is written differently.
That is why this library keeps separate profiles. The comparison concerns the full names and attributed pedigrees; it does not establish that every shortened Lemon Haze reference elsewhere identifies the Azarius version. Check the original source when an article drops a word.
Azarius uses citrus-peel and diesel associations in its Lemon Haze description. Those are aroma terms attached to that account, not a statement that the plant contains lemon fruit.
The name offers a sensory association, while the source provides the description. Neither tells you that every specimen smells identical. A photograph can show shape and colour, but it cannot serve as evidence for a citrus aroma.
Green House records High Times Cannabis Cup wins in 2008 and 2009 for Super Lemon Haze. Those records belong with the full Super Lemon Haze name.
They should not silently become awards for this Lemon Haze profile. An event date, the entrant’s name and the source belong together. Preserving those details prevents a familiar shortened name from acquiring somebody else’s history.
In the accounts above, Lemon Skunk is a parent name; Lemon Haze is the subject of this page; Super Lemon Haze has a separate Green House profile. Shared words help connect the references, but do not make all three synonyms.
Open the Super Lemon Haze page to follow its own pedigree and history. A direct link keeps the comparison useful while allowing each page to answer the questions specific to its full name.

Do not assume that. The sources compared here describe separately named entries. Read the full name and source before treating a shortened reference as a synonym.
No. Lemon Skunk appears as a parent in the Lemon Haze account used here.
Green House records those wins for Super Lemon Haze. They should remain attached to that full name, rather than being transferred to Lemon Haze.
