The strain library
Super Silver Haze meets Sour Diesel. Two producer records connect the name to its parents, while a separate sensory account adds detail.
Behind the name
Amplified Farms and Humboldt Family Farms both list Super Silver Haze crossed with Sour Diesel as the lineage of Super Sour Diesel.
The full name identifies the resulting cross. Sour Diesel is a parent in these records, not a shorter interchangeable label for the descendant. Keeping the complete name helps avoid mixing their descriptions.
The Humboldt Family Farms entry identifies Full Moon Farms alongside Super Sour Diesel and names Nik Erickson as the cultivator. Amplified Farms supplies a separate producer record.
These credits locate the accounts with particular contributors. They do not by themselves identify the original breeder of the cross, so this profile does not turn a producer credit into an origin claim.
Humboldt Family Farms describes a strong fuel-and-citrus aroma. Its taste account adds lemon and a sweet undertone to the fuel association.
Fuel is descriptive language here, not an ingredient declaration. The aroma and taste notes describe that source’s presentation of the cultivar; they are not measurements that can be assigned to every same-named specimen.
Super Sour Diesel contains part of each parent’s name in the documented cross. Reading it alongside the lineage makes the distinction from Sour Diesel easier to follow.
Similar wording can be useful for navigating a strain library, but a shared word alone is not a family tree. A direct relationship should come from an explicit parent statement like the ones linked here.
Super Lemon Haze has its own background and source record in this library. The shared Super and Haze wording should not be used to replace one name with the other.
Compare the complete parent accounts to understand the difference. Each profile keeps its own identity, even where a familiar family word appears in several entries.
