The strain library
Two familiar names meet in a specifically named Auto variety. This profile follows Barney’s Farm’s Glue Gelato Auto record.
Behind the name
Barney’s Farm presents this variety as Glue Gelato Auto. The shorter library heading helps navigation; the source name identifies the version discussed here.
A short heading and a complete identity record serve different purposes. Preserve the full name when matching a caption, breeder description or future photograph to this profile.
The breeder lists Gorilla Glue, Gelato and BF Super Auto #1 in its genetics entry. The final component matters: the record is more specific than a two-name shorthand.
A lineage string is a compact family reference. It does not supply the complete history of every selection involved, so this page does not add an unreported selection number or reconstruct extra generations.
Barney’s Farm’s aroma notes combine fruit and citrus with sweetness and earthiness. Its separate taste description uses chocolate, spice and berry associations.
These are the breeder’s sensory descriptions. Food words provide comparisons rather than an ingredient list. Keeping aroma and taste separate also preserves how the original record is organised.
The source places this variety in its autoflower range and also identifies it as feminised. Both labels appear in the same entry; they are not competing names for the cultivar.
Our category pages explain the terminology separately from strain history. That keeps a variety’s name, its recorded parentage and its seed classification easy to distinguish while browsing.
Glue Gelato and Grease Monkey have separate profiles here. A shared word or familiar family reference is a starting point for reading, not a reason to merge two records.
For a useful comparison, look at the full names and the source attribution on each page. A photograph should carry the same level of identification as the text it accompanies.

It is part of the source’s lineage entry. Removing it would make our account less complete.
No. Chocolate is a sensory comparison in the source description, not a declared ingredient.
We maintain separate entries and source records. A resemblance between names does not make them synonyms.
